Winter's turned to Spring, and Spring is contemplating Summer as every yooper plans the six months worth of stuff we have to fit into three. Shoveling has turned to mowing and yard work, but it's so early in the year that no one minds much yet. We're busy planning the garden, festivals, and summer reading programs!

Kathryn (the MOM) is still hard at work for the Bonifas Arts Center in Escanaba, and excited to see how the Kid's Caberet and the Missula Children's Theater projects turn out this year. Brian is glad to be taking the summer off of Bay De Noc Community College and working part time at Bay Title in Escanaba. He still fits in his Tuesday night at the 8th Street Coffee House, and he works Wednesday nights there, as well. Caitlin is beading and writing up a storm around her work schedule at Staples in Escanaba. Her novel is progressing through the second draft, and is nearly ready for the third draft. Three of her bead peices were accepted into the "Fire Around the Lakes, Ten Years After" Glass exhibit at the Bonifas Arts Center, opening June 26th. Drop her a line at caitlin@morskimusic.com.
